Simplifying Radicals

We started class with retakes of benchmarks 4.1, 4.2 and 8.1.
We checked and collected #23 and started the notes:
5.3 Solving by Square roots
• Properties of radicals
        • Product/Quotient
        • Rationalizing denominator
HW: #24 page 267 #19-49 (o), 77-81 (o)
Coming up:
Grade report #3 due Monday, 10/31 (Happy Holloween!)
Group Test 5-1 on Wednesday, and the individual test 5-1 on Thurs. 11/10

And don't forget to change your clocks back 1 hour! That's 1 extra hour for catching up on your homework!

That is the best Halloween present I have ever been given Mr. Fjelstrom!!!!

Today we did re-takes on 4.1 & 4.2, and 8.1 which i allready passed, then we turned in #23, and took notes on 5.3 Solving by Square roots which i think is easy!(so far)

Today we did retakes of 4.1 and 4.2 which Ihopefully passed and 8.1 which I did yay.I like the solving by square roots. smiles

Today we re-took 4.1 4.2 & 8.1 & i re-took 4.2 because i didn't pass it the last time. we took notes on solving by sq. roots which was easy for me.

My grade is going up finally! I'm doing really well on the math we are doing right now. I'm suprising myself...just need to make up those benchmarks. I heard that we are going to have a group test on wednesday, not so excited about that. I hope it works out better this time around.
