First, we checked and collected #20, then went right into the notes (5.2 continued).

We covered these topics-
• ax^2+bx+c, a≠1
• Special Factors
• ending variables
Played Me Vs. You, and here's the homework.
HW: #21 page 260 #23-63 (o)
We also checked BM #3.1-3.3 because the retakes on on Friday. Here are the solutions since 6th period didn't have time to go over it.

Today I learned the box method for double factoring.

I feel that I'm doing very well in this factoring stuff. Two thumbs up mr. fjelstrom for your story. it made me laugh a lot [hehe].

Today we learned about factoring and was introduced to the "box method". I really don't understand it, I think that Mr. Fjelstrom's method was a lot easier but, it was interesting to see.

I learned my mistake from the benchmarks 3.1-3.3 in that I need to change the sign to a negative when I'm multiplying.

Today was the best day in algebra 2 we learned a great informational story about squarevill and i also learned so much about factoring, the square method and mr. fjelstroms method i personaly think mr. fjelstroms way is easier and faster!!!!!

In class we had more factoring (Medium) level, it got a bit harder but at least i know how to do it (kinf of)and we were introduced to the box formation and "The Story", and we got benchmarks, i failed two by the negative/positive signs!

I guess this is late but oh well, The lesson was great, you have just refreshed my memory. Thanks, I will try harder now ^-^

No wonder you can't keep your eyes open in class, Jonathan. Let's try getting to bed a little earlier (although I was up that late, too).
I'm very glad so many of you liked the lesson and are having success with factoring.
